    Time Event
    Forgotten Futures XI Completed
As of about an hour ago I've finished writing Forgotten Futures XI!. It's a little later than I'd hoped, but nowhere near as bad as I'd feared, it looked at one point like I'd never finish. It weighs in at a massive 178 pages, including seventy pages of adventures and adventure outlines.

I now have to do all the boring stuff like convert it to PDF and HTML, put together all the other contents of the distribution disk, get it mailed out, etc. etc.

The usual time frame for this is two to three weeks, so hopefully it will be on its way to everyone around the middle of next month, and on line a little before Christmas.

Because postage is still my biggest expense, I want to make a special offer to everyone who has registered and would normally expect me to send a disk by post: If you are prepared to receive FF XI as a download, rather than on CD-ROM, please let me know - I will donate 50p to Cancer Research UK if you are in the UK, £1.00 if you are overseas.

Please could all registered users make sure that I have your current email address (and postal address if I will be sending you a CD).

The deadline for everything is a couple of days before I start sending disks - I'll post again as the time gets nearer.

Posted to my web sites and to the ffutures_news blogs on livejournal and insanejournal. Apologies if you see this more than once.

Update This will probably be early next week - please contact me ASAP if you want to change your address or switch to downloads!
